The Martin County Council on Aging
Beginning in 2017, for his lifelong work, Dr. Reza Khatib was honored by the Martin County Council on Aging’s Kane Center for extraordinary philanthropic support with his appointment as 2017’s recipient of the Sage Award in Medicine. His late wife Georgianna was also an attendee; It was her last major honor Georgie and Reza received before her passing in 2023.
Reza and the Khatib Foundation were honored once again in 2025 when he was asked to be the Honorary Presenter of the Center’s 2024 Sage Award in Medicine.
And Reza was honored once again in March 2026, Dr. Khatib was to be honored for his continued support of the council.
